The Justice Programs Office (JPO), a center within American University’s School of Public Affairs, is pleased to announce its new website developed for Juvenile Drug Treatment Courts (JDTC) through funding from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), U.S. Department of Justice. The JDTC Initiative website provides a direct way for programs to request training and technical assistance and information regarding the OJJDP solicitation for the FY 2017 Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program. The new website includes a variety of resources for JDTC programs and teams. These resources cover topics including substance use disorder, adolescent development, community and school involvement, evidence-based practices, and other pertinent topics to the juvenile justice field. The website also highlights OJJDP’s new JDTC Guidelines, JDTC-specific listserv, events calendar for trainings, webinars, conferences, and solicitation deadlines related to JDTCs, and news section that highlights news stories about the juvenile justice field.
