Scholarship Announcement: California Indian Law Association 3L Diversity Scholarship 

The California Indian Law Association (“CILA”) has proudly partnered with the California Bar Foundation on a 3L Diversity Scholarship to be awarded to a graduating Native American law student preparing to take the July 2017 California Bar Examination.

CILA is looking for an aspiring Native lawyer committed to a public interest career and serving Native communities. Applicants do not have to graduate from a California law school, but must be planning to take the 2017 California Bar Examination.

Please be prepared to provide a description or documentation of your tribal affiliation. Preference will be given to Native law students affiliated with California tribes, but all Native law students are encouraged to apply. Your personal statement must describe your past, present, and future commitment to serving Native communities.

Deadline: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. PST
