Research and Evaluation on Violence Against Women: Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence – Violence Against Women research and evaluation is one of the major foci of NIJ‘s Violence and Victimization Research Division. The goals of the Violence Against Women program of research are to improve knowledge and understanding of teen dating violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual assault issues through science. NIJ strives to provide objective and independent knowledge and validated tools to reduce violence against women and girls, and promote justice for victims. Applicants must register with Grants.gov prior to submitting an application. All applications are due to be submitted and in receipt of a successful validation message in Grants.gov by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on April 7, 2015.
