BJA FY 2012 Anti-Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance for Tribal Law Enforcement – Through this solicitation, BJA is seeking to develop and deliver training for federally-recognized Indian tribes with their respective law enforcement and criminal justice authorities (tribal, state, and/or federal law enforcement) that will equip them with the knowledge and ability to identify and rescue victims of human trafficking on tribal lands. This training curriculum will build on the “Advanced Human Trafficking Investigation Training,” “Human Trafficking Training for State Judges,” and “Human Trafficking Training for State Prosecutors” that has previously been developed for BJA. One cooperative agreement for up to $305,000 is expected to be awarded by BJA to support the development of the training and support up to three pilot trainings.
